Criminal Law in the Netherlands. You are challenging a decision by the CBR. An administrative objection or appeal does not automatically suspend it. Urgent temporary relief from the court requires a separate request. Discuss with your lawyer whether the required objection or appeal is pending and which court is competent. An urgent request is not a substitute for bringing the main challenge properly. Explain immediate consequences for work or care and what alternatives are available. Keep relevant documents. General inconvenience alone does not explain why waiting for the main decision is unacceptable. Ask your lawyer to assess the grounds of the CBR decision as well as the urgency. The court considers the request; submitting it does not guarantee temporary relief. A pending request is not permission to drive. Even a favourable temporary decision may leave another restriction in place. Check the precise order and your actual driving entitlement before driving. Save the court's decision and keep track of the main objection or appeal. Ask what applies now and what must happen next. A temporary ruling is not automatic final success.
